How many  times have  you asked yourself, "Will my children ever grow up?
Housework, laundry, meal preparations, taxi driving, homeschooling... the list goes on and on and only seems to multiply.
I remember complaining to my husband, "Why do I have to remind our children over and over again, to...... throughout the day?
"Please,.......
Put your dishes in the sink.
Wash your hand before you eat.
Put your toys away after you are done playing with them.
Turn off the light when you leave a room.
Say please and thank you.
Flush the toilet when you are done.
And put down the seat! (for those of you with boys)
Don't feed the dog from the table.
Close the door behind you when you go outside.
Did you remember to feed the dog?
Respect other's things....Ask permission before you take it.
Share because you want others to share with you.
If you take it out, put it away.
The list goes on and on.......

Motherhood can be so very exhausting!

I remember looking forward to the days when I wouldn't have to repeat myself over and over again, dress them, bathe them, carry them everywhere, go through the huge bedtime routine.

I look back and see how much I missed by looking ahead to what I wished for rather than looking at the abundant blessings that  I had in front of me.

Nichole Norsemen's song reminds me that our children will not slow down. No matter how hard we try to control it, we cannot slow down or stop their growth. BUT, there is one thing that we can control,..... ourselves. We can slow down.
Please take advice from this mom. SLOW DOWN! Enjoy every moment!
They can be so difficult!! Days seem to drag by, but the reality is they are racing by at a speed that is unstoppable. You will blink your eyes and your children will be grown.

You've got to watch this video!

Our children grow up way too fast! I now am a homeschool retiree. All four of our children are now married and we have seven grandchildren. Wow! I blinked and here we are.

Are you looking ahead to your children becoming teenagers and then homeschooling high school? Maybe you're scared to death to not only have teenagers but homeschooling high school. YOU CAN DO IT. There is so much support and so many choices to help you with what you don't feel comfortable teaching.

If you want even more help, I would be happy to be your cheerleader and coach
